The Smittybilt HD Pivot Tire Carrier for 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU (2 and 4-door models) is designed to support up to a 37-inch spare tire while preventing tailgate sag. Constructed from monoblock aluminum and featuring forged chrome mounting brackets, this carrier is 30% stronger than steel and ensures maximum durability. It supports a load capacity of 135 lbs, and the adjustable tire mount ensures a secure fit. The carrier is designed to maintain the easy single-action operation of the tailgate, and protective EPDM gaskets are included to protect the factory finish. It also includes a third brake light mount for added functionality. Please note that it does not work with 4xe models.
